If you have iOS 10, the first which allows removal of the buit-in apps, you can restore it from the app store. It's not under Purchased, because you never actually loaded it from the app store. Just search for 'apple mail' to find it. @Pbeatty71 & @Lonelyrunner: I had the same thing happen. Turns out once you reinstall the mail app, you then have to go to SETTINGS, then scroll down to ACCOUNTS & PASSWORDS (should be the one just above the MAIL icon) and there you'll find all the email accounts you originally had on your phone.

With iOS 14, you might see an orange or green indicator in the status bar on your iPhone. These indicators appear when the microphone and/or camera are being used by an app.
An orange indicator means the microphone is being used by an app on your iPhone.
A green indicator means either the camera or the camera and the microphone are being used by an app on your iPhone.

Add an email account
If you haven't already set up an email account in Mail, you might be prompted to add one when you open the app. Best free apps 2015 mac os. If you're not prompted, or you just want to add another account, follow these steps:

The Inbox gathers together the messages for every email account you added. If you added more than one account, you can click the disclosure triangle next to Inbox in the sidebar, then select a mailbox to see only the messages for that account.
